The pace of the lessons is quite good too. I listened to the Level 1 podcasts from lesson 1-13 at work yesterday and I was able to grasp everything easily, even through the grammar explanations. I studied Japanese before though, and it’s quite similar and so I probably have a slight advantage here.

Updated to Windows 7
For a few weeks now, my computer has been rebooting itself randomly. I’d run memtest on the memory and swapped hard drives, but the thing was still being a huge PITA. Got my Korean textbooks!
The textbooks I ordered a few weeks ago from Amazon have arrived. I feel really dorky, but I’m kind of excited about getting new textbooks. I haven’t had a textbook of any kind since I graduated from uni 5 years ago. XD
Is it just me, or has the print quality of textbooks gotten better? The font and layout is so much easier to read than my French textbook in high school.

Happy Australia Day weekend! Australia Day isn’t actually until next Tuesday, but most people are celebrating it this weekend and some are taking Monday off. Unfortunately, I still have to go to work on Monday. Bad planning on my part. /facepalm It’s shaping up to be a scorcher this weekend too.
